Many of you know that during my growing up years, I sang in my church’s youth choir. My dad was the choir director at the church. Margaret Harrison led the youth choir. It was expected for me to be in the choir. We met on Wednesdays after school and sang, occasionally, on Sunday mornings. One of those songs was written by Natalie Sleeth. I can still sing the words. Its title is Everywhere I Go.

I thought the idea Everywhere I Go would be a great sermon series for the season of Lent. The song, the theme, along with a book I came across entitled, Ashes at the Coffee Shop, Resurrection at the Bus Stop, written by Mary Austin, combined will help us consider Jesus’ journey to Jerusalem.
