DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, September 20\, First United Methodist Church will join
  with thousands of churches nationwide for Back to Church Sunday. We want 
 to invite everyone in the Mounrtain Home area to come for this special day
 ! There will be services at 9:00 and 11:00 and a Brunch Reception at 10:00
  in the UMAC Commons (United Methodist Activity Center. Everyone is welcom
 e to attend. “With the recent statistics and studies showing that loneli
 ness is a real issue in our culture\, we want our community to know that o
 ur church\, and really every church\, is here as a resource and a place wh
 ere people can connect\, make friends and find support for when life gets 
 hard. This year’s Back to Church Sunday campaign is designed around a 
 “Find Your Place” theme. We live in a world that is increasingly digit
 al\, transient\, and lonely. Many people in your neighborhood are searchin
 g for belonging\, purpose\, and a community where they are known. We are i
 nviting our community to Find Their Place at our church\, to discover that
  they weren't meant to do life alone\, and to experience a Biblical commun
 ity that cares.\n \nThe Back to Church Sunday movement marks its seventee
 nth year in 2026 and it continues to gain momentum. More than 5 million Ch
 rist followers have participated through 33\,000 churches since 2009. It i
 s a day focused on uniting the church to equip and empower their members t
 o be inviters. Eight out of ten people say they are open to visiting churc
 h if invited—they are just waiting for an invitation.
