Rev. Frase brings a wealth of experience from both the business world and 17 years of ordained ministry in the Arkansas Conference of The United Methodist Church. Before following a call to ministry, Tom spent 20 successful years in advertising, marketing and public relations business and ended that part of his career life as a partner at The Communications Group. At the firm, Tom worked primarily with account management and strategic planning, and managed internal systems within the agency.

As a United Methodist minister, Tom has served in small and large congregations mostly in central and northwest Arkansas. He was appointed as senior pastor at First United Methodist Church in Russellville in 2007. In Russellville, Tom responded to a new call upon his life, as God led him to specialized ministry and leadership training to aid congregations in times of transition and reorientation to vitality. He served churches in this capacity until 2015 when he was appointed here to FUMCMH. He identifies his ministry and leadership strengths in teaching, strategic planning and administration. His leadership philosophy is to lead by consensus building, behind clear strategic direction and goals. His passion is to grow disciples of Jesus Christ through Bible study and encouraging personal discipleship.

Mrs. Patty Frase works in the field of oil and gas leasing. Though her work sometimes takes her to a "home base" office in Fayetteville and some trips to Oklahoma, her duties require only a cell phone and internet access! Patty and Tom are parents to a daughter Allison, who is married to her husband Tim Reavis. Allison, Tim and their son Milo live in Kansas City.

After graduating from Pine Bluff High School, Tom received his BA in English from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. When he chose to follow the call to ordained ministry, Tom received his Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky. Tom loves to play golf, fish and fly.

Heather graduated from Clarendon High School in 1993 and received her undergraduate degree from Hendrix College in 1997 (Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology). She worked for eight years in the secular world before hearing her call into the ministry and began her graduate studies at Perkins School of Theology on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She graduated in 2009 with a Master of Divinity degree. Immediately following seminary, she began her first appointment as pastor of the Bismarck United Methodist Church. until 2012 when she began a two-charge appointment serving as pastor of the Norphlet United Methodist Church and Centennial United Methodist Church until 2015 when she came to Mountain home with her husband Dustin.
